Job Summary
Provide patient care for the Adult Psych population across 32 beds using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Perform duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards. This role supports the women's side, men's side, and medical care side of the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
