RN-Behavioral Health Geriatrics FT Days

Job Summary
Complete admitting and shift assessments on assigned behavioral health geriatric patients, utilizing critical thinking to analyze data and notify physicians of condition changes. Implement and document physician orders while monitoring patients and the environment for safety. Participate in developing, reviewing, and evaluating multidisciplinary treatment plans and educate patients and families based on assessed needs. Serve as a clinical resource supervising care delivered by LPNs and techs, applying evidence-based practice to address age-specific clinical needs. Work day shifts with 36 scheduled weekly hours. Requires a registered professional nurse license and Basic Life Support certification in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
