RN-Behavioral Health FT Weekends

Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility. Completes admitting and shift assessments on assigned patients including behaviors; analyzes patient assessment data and notifies physician of changes in condition. Participates in development, review and evaluation of multidisciplinary treatment plans. Documents all nursing care, adheres to nursing standards and ministry policies and procedures. Implements and records physicians orders, assesses and monitors patient and environmental safety, serves as a clinical resource supervising LPNs and techs, Educates patients and families, applies evidence-based practice, and follows ANA Code of Ethics in nursing practice. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing and one year RN experience; licenses in IL/MO/OK/WI or compact state; BLS certification. Weekend shift; 36 scheduled hours; located in Jefferson City, MO with multiple-state RN licensure considerations.
