RN - Bed Control / Transfer, Evening

Coordinate and assign all beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, evaluating, coordinating, processing, and documenting patient transfers. Collaborate with physician offices, emergency department, inpatient units, surgical services, and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow and determine optimal bed placement. Assess patients for the most appropriate level of immediate care by working closely with facility House Supervisors, referring physicians, ED/inpatient staff, and administration. Utilize problem-solving and customer service skills to determine the best course of action for the patient, physician, and hospital. Requires BSN, 3–5 years acute care experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and Georgia RN licensure.
