Job Summary
RN Bariatric Med Surg on 4H unit delivers nursing care per ANA standards and Michigan requirements to medically and surgically complex bariatric patients, including colorectal and bariatric cases, in an accredited bariatric surgery center. Responsible for applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation, collaborating with the care team, and contributing to continuous quality improvement. The unit is a 22-bed inpatient service within Blodgett Hospital, offering comprehensive benefits, on-demand pay, and retirement options. Night shift, Grand Rapids, MI; Full-time role with a strong emphasis on patient-focused, evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
