Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents in the home setting, following the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel. Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and ethical standards; address health maintenance, preventive care, and follow-up. Role supports not-for-profit Christian seniors housing and services; shift is Day, part-time (24 hours/week).
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state where practice occurs
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- One year of long-term care/subacute/ medical-surgical experience preferred
- Maintains required certifications and CEUs
- Willingness to undergo drug screen and pre-employment background check
