Job Summary
RN Assistant Nurse Manager in Martinez, GA leads and supports a nursing unit under the nurse manager, promoting patient-centered care, staff development, and operational performance. Responsible for mentoring staff, coordinating with physicians and departments, participating in budgeting and achieving clinical and financial goals, advancing evidence-based practice, and ensuring licensure, regulatory, and accreditation standards are met. Requires nursing leadership ambitions, strong communication, and the ability to apply lean and quality-improvement concepts to optimize care delivery and workforce management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Nursing or Masters Nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - Multi-state
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or instructor variant)
- National certification in nursing administration
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to progress into nursing management roles
- Knowledge of health care financing, strategy and operations for running a unit
- Ability to use data and technology to support work processes
- Ability to mentor and coach staff
- Commitment to professional nursing practice and ethics
- Licensure up to date per Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
