Job Summary
Assess educational needs and facilitate unit compliance while assisting the Clinical Nurse Manager in planning, implementing, and documenting unit activities and hospital-wide programs. Coordinate unit and hospital quality activities, ensure adherence to accreditation standards, and serve as a clinical resource for staff regarding care standards. Lead coaching and applied learning initiatives, hold self and others accountable for safety procedures, and demonstrate continuous improvement through QA/PI strategic goals. Communicate effectively among patients, staff, managers, and physicians while reporting mistakes and near misses timely. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, active Ohio RN license, and primarily PM and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- Primarily pm and night shifts
- A minimum of 50% of time must be after 7:00 pm and before 7:00 am
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- TNCC
- Leadership and teaching abilities
- Professional and ethical behavior
- Passion about nursing and teamwork
Desired Qualifications
- Employee will be required to work three charge shifts per month
