RN Assistant Nurse Manager

Advocate for and allocate available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate nursing care while promoting shared decision-making and professional autonomy. Assist with management of personnel, budget, strategic planning, and regulatory standards to oversee the overall care delivery system. Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to develop PI Plan initiatives, ensure personnel work hours meet unit needs, and implement models of patient care delivery that maximize resources. Provide feedback, counseling, and performance evaluations to assigned staff, ensuring they maintain necessary competencies and achieve goals. Participate in leadership meetings, councils, and task forces to support staff participation in nursing activities and performance improvement activities. Identify and quantify resources needed for patient care while balancing patient needs, quality, and cost effectiveness. Maintain a high level of visibility on the unit and appropriately represent nursing and the hospital in the community.
