Job Summary
Partner with the Director of Nursing to support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting. Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and CNAs, fostering trust, accountability, and teamwork. Participate in the on-call rotation and provide leadership support during off-hours. Lead by example, stepping in to support floor staffing alongside the nursing team when needed. Promote clinical excellence, compliance, and compassionate resident care. This hands-on leadership role requires experience leading large nursing teams in high-demand environments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License (or Compact State RN license)
- Proven nurse leadership experience in skilled nursing, including leading large teams in high-acuity settings
- A calm, confident leader who thrives in busy environments and supports their team through action
- Strong clinical judgment
- Communication skills
- Experience successfully led large nursing teams (10+ team members) in a high-demand skilled nursing environment
- Participate in the on-call rotation
