RN Assistant Director of Nursing

Supports the Director of Nursing by coordinating all aspects of patient/family care in the Hospice program, facilitates communication among personnel, assists with coordinating patient care, ensuring admissions, supervising staff and documentation, and recruiting/training field staff. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with the interdisciplinary team, monitoring scheduling and staff assignments, ensuring compliance with licensure and payor requirements, arranging hospice and supportive services, handling complaints, and ensuring safety and disaster plan adherence. Requires current RN or LPN license in the state of operation and at least some hospice/palliative care experience; strong emphasis on documentation accuracy, regulatory and payer requirements, and staff training.
