Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and maintain care standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse mentor. Organize priorities, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment while working with diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Maintain a Student Nurse Apprentice permit issued from the Alabama Board of Nursing and complete BLS certification before orientation. This role supports the 134-bed facility's commitment to quality stroke and cardiac care in Northeast Alabama and Western Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Enrolled in a Board approved nursing education program
- Actively engaged in a registered apprenticeship
- Student Nurse Apprentice permit issued from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- BLS certification before the conclusion of the orientation period
