Job Summary
Manage pediatric and adult patient populations during Apheresis procedures, including autologous stem cell collections, CAR-T cell collections, and therapeutic plasma exchange. Oversee clinical status, venous access, and infusion of blood components while adhering to strict regulatory standards. Provide patient and family education, perform vein checks, and participate in quality improvement activities. Requires three years of acute care experience, a BSN or ADN, and a current Oregon RN license. Full-time or part-time scheduling with flexible calls and on-call rotation until midnight.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of acute care hospital experience
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
- BLS from AHA
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with all types of vascular access devices, including PIV placement skills, Port-a-Cath access, Apheresis catheters, and care and maintenance of all types of vascular access devices
- Three years of experience in apheresis procedures
