Job Summary
RN Ambulatory - Pulmonary Disease PRN opportunity at Weston Hospital. Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory/pulmonary setting, including health assessments, nursing assessments, telephone triage, and care planning. Administer medications and treatments, initiate CPR as needed, and notify physicians/LIP of abnormal findings. Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment, deliver patient and family education, and cover other nursing roles within the department. This role offers opportunities for growth within Cleveland Clinic and supports caregiver safety and well-being programs. Shift with days 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and a regular PRN engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or American Red Cross
- ACLS or ALS Certification within six months of hire (for areas performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing)
- One year of recent experience as an RN
- May consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role
