Job Summary
RN Ambulatory - Neurosurgery at Sanford Health (Bismarck Clinic). Provides nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation); coordinates care, conducts patient assessment and education, triage, and various nursing interventions. Works collaboratively with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable nursing standards; upholds ethics and standards per ANA. Typical schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, no weekends or holidays, full-time with 40 hours/week. Requires RN licensure in practice state; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; experience credits may affect wage; benefits provided. Drug screen and pre-employment background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in an NLC state
- Obtains and maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications
