Job Summary
RN Ambulatory Health Primary Care role providing nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in an ambulatory setting. Delivers comprehensive care to patients and families across the lifespan, including injections, BP checks, triage by phone, and coordination of tests through ancillary departments. Provides leadership for quality improvement initiatives, adheres to standards of care and IDFPR scope, and participates in patient education and health-wellness activities. Based in central/southern Illinois with Carle Health system participation, including Magnet-designated facilities; equal opportunity employer with compliance to E-Verify and I-9 workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois (IDFPR)
- Education in Nursing
- Ability to provide healthcare to individuals, families, and communities within RN scope of practice
- Experience with ambulatory/primary care settings preferred
- Ability to perform telephone triage and patient notification of test results
- Administration of injections and measurement of vitals (e.g., BP)
- Knowledge of and adherence to standards of care and scope of practice
