Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Supervises nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines. Responsibilities include collecting health data, analyzing assessment data, developing care plans, implementing and evaluating care delivery, and participating in discharge planning. Provides education and support to patients and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure safe patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) or RQIPALS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Acute care facility experience
