Job Summary
Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions, administer ordered medications, and provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age. Formulate teaching plans for patients and families, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills. Prioritize patient care effectively while promoting safety, addressing psychosocial needs, and utilizing cost-effective practices. Maintain lifelong learning and demonstrate compassion, integrity, and respect in all interactions. Requires 3–4 years of experience, RN licensure, BLS certification within 14 days, and ACLS/PALS specialty certification.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in current unit or in specialty area
- 4 years' experience in acute care hospital setting or comparable specialty area
- evidence of 6 clinical nursing education contact hours attained during the previous 12 months
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Computer literacy
- RN
- BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE

- ACLS/PALS Specialty Certification
