RN, Adult Surgical Oncology

Provide compassionate, evidence-based, and efficient care to patients, families, and communities in Surgical Oncology, adhering to the Oregon Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. Demonstrate professional role obligations as a scientist, leader, and knowledge transferor within a multidisciplinary team. Maintain a culture of safety by committing to just, reporting, learning, and engaged informed cultures while collaborating with pharmacy, social work, and other health care professionals. This role requires one year of RN experience in Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, or Adult inpatient Med/Surg. Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and either a BSN or ADN (with a plan to complete BSN within five years). Orientation includes external new employee training for experienced nurses, with a transition program lasting three days to 26 weeks depending on the care area.
