Job Summary
Staff RN in an adult psychiatric unit providing direct nursing care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include organizing patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating using the nursing process, collaborating with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience, fostering a learning environment for patients and staff, and advocating for ethical, holistic care. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent, RN licensure in Washington (or multi-state endorsement), and relevant certifications; per diem, variable shifts. Strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based practice, and culturally competent care within Navos/MultiCare’s behavioral health network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five years from date of hire
- RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility/department
- One year of experience in acute care setting preferred
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
