Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for patients across all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while performing patient assessment, education, triage, and coordination of care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license, BSN preferred, and full-time status with 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
