Job Summary
Conduct critical thinking and decisive judgment while treating diverse patients across specialty units throughout the South Broward Hospital District. Lead others and foster positive relationships under changing circumstances and challenges in different settings. Maintain two years of nursing experience in the specialty field and hold required credentials including ACLS/BLS for ICU, ED, PACU, and Endo, or PALS for pediatric areas, with specific certificates for chemotherapy administration and fetal monitoring for L&D. Work per diem as part of the District Float Pool, supporting a community of caregivers dedicated to quality patient- and family-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of nursing experience in field of specialty
- Department specific credentials
- ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced)
