RN Admissions/Intake - Nights

Review medical documentation, complete medication reconciliation, and obtain admission orders from physicians for all admissions. Facilitate emergency transfers, assess medical and behavioral acuity of referrals, and respond within designated timeframes. Conduct assessments to determine appropriate levels of care, perform insurance benefit verifications, and secure initial pre-authorizations. Admit patients to registration systems, complete consent forms, and coordinate follow-up care for those not being admitted. Monitor patient status throughout the process while ensuring accurate medical record documentation for payor authorization.
