Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, brain injury, and spinal injury. Maintain professional accountability for care provision and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Full-time 3 12's night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
