Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, brain injury, spinal injury, and joint replacement. Maintain professional accountability for care provision and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality of information are upheld. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards and maintain current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification. Work 36 hours per week on night shifts in our Acute Rehab unit, offering a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for graduates or $13,000 for experienced nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 36 hours per week, Nights
