Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, CVA, brain injury, or spinal injury. Maintain professional accountability for care effectiveness and coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards for Acute Rehab, a collaborative team environment focused on restoring function for patients experiencing loss of daily living activities. Work 36 hours per week on night shifts, with a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for graduates or $13,000 for experienced nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 36 hours per week, Nights
