Job Summary
Monitor new orders for telemetry, pulse oximetry, and capnography in real time while partnering with Patient Technology Technicians and communicating updates to bedside RNs. Complete admission documentation for new admissions and transfers to support inpatient units and reduce bedside team workload. Identify and address gaps in care to support quality initiatives. Connect with patients and families through an iPad while working three 12-hour shifts per week in a rotating day and night schedule.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- This position is an onsite role
- This position is based in person at the UCHealth Virtual Health Center in Peoria
- Shift: Day and Night Rotation
- Work nights
- The rotating schedule typically includes two weeks of night shifts, or approximately five-to-six-night shifts, within each six-week scheduling period
- The position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week
- Available shift times are: 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
- Available shift times are: 9:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
- Available shift times are: 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
