Job Summary

Monitor new orders for telemetry, pulse oximetry, and capnography in real time while partnering with Patient Technology Technicians to ensure monitoring is initiated. Support inpatient units by completing admission documentation for new admissions and transfers to reduce the bedside team's workload. Communicate updates to the bedside RN and identify gaps in care to support quality initiatives. Work onsite at the UCHealth Virtual Health Center in Peoria on a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including night shifts. Requires state licensure as an RN with six months of experience and current BLS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
  • BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be available for night shifts
  • Must be available for three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Must be able to work nights
  • Must be able to work days
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, innovative clinical environment
  • Must be able to provide top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
