Job Summary
Monitor new orders for telemetry, pulse oximetry, and capnography in real time while partnering with Patient Technology Technicians to ensure monitoring is initiated and communicating updates to bedside RNs. Support inpatient units by completing admission documentation for new admissions and transfers, helping reduce the bedside team's workload and identifying gaps in care for quality initiatives. Connect with patients and families through an iPad as part of the Virtual Admissions/Quality RN function. This onsite role at the UCHealth Virtual Health Center in Peoria involves a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including night shifts with a quarterly incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- This position is based in person at the UCHealth Virtual Health Center in Peoria
- The rotating schedule typically includes two weeks of night shifts, or approximately five-to-six-night shifts, within each six-week scheduling period
- The position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week
- Available shift times are: 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
