Job Summary
Monitor patient safety and quality measures from the virtual center while collaborating with the onsite inpatient team. Provide top-of-scope practice in a virtual care environment, utilizing the nursing process to intervene and share algorithmic interventions with unit nurses, supervisors, and physicians. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and precepting new healthcare staff to validate competency. Contribute to secure safety at the point of care within a multidisciplinary, fast-paced clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Must be available for Day and Night Rotation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
