Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. Utilize the nursing process and prioritize evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team approach. Support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This role requires state licensure as an RN, six months of nursing experience, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Schedule is PRN days with pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour based on experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS Certification
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
