Job Summary
RN Acute Care Trauma Surgical role providing top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process in acute Med-Surg units with moderate to high acuity. Works within a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes patient wellness and safety, and precepts new staff during orientation. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and contributing to secure quality of care in a fast-paced clinical environment. On-site, dayshift, PRN schedule with hourly pay; onsite with no remote option. Eligible for UCHealth total rewards, including incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
