Job Summary
Assess patient physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records. Develop and implement patient plans of care while evaluating responses to ensure optimal outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections. Provide patient and family education based on learning readiness and document ongoing status, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Maintain confidential patient charts and utilize information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decision-making. Promote patient health, safety, and rights while adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- RN License in state of employment
- Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally
- up to 20 lbs. frequently
- up to 10 lbs. constantly
- at least six months of direct RN experience
