Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Transplant Medicine Unit, utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity Acute Care units. Prioritize a patient perspective and evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team approach. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Work day and night rotations in Aurora, CO, with a quarterly night shift incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
