Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. This onsite role at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, requires a full-time, 72-hour day and night rotation schedule with a starting pay of $35.29 per hour. Candidates must hold an RN license, six months of nursing experience, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
