Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care units utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while contributing to secure quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation. Maintain current BLS and CPR certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
