Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Acute Care Surgical Specialty Unit, managing moderate to high acuity patients using the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and welcome new knowledge in this fast-paced clinical environment. This full-time night shift position (0.9 FTE) offers a quarterly incentive program of $1,600 and a three-year performance bonus. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
