Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity using the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. This role requires an RN with at least six months of experience and valid BLS certification. The position is part-time (0.6 FTE, 48 hours per pay period) with night shifts at UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO. Compensation ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
