Job Summary
RN in Acute Care Surgical Oncology providing direct patient care using the nursing process within Med-Surg units of moderate to high acuity. Works in a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes wellness and patient-centered care, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. Role involves precepting those new to healthcare and UCHealth, supports evidence-based practice, and engages in ongoing specialty education and training. Rotation includes Day and Night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on oncology-related acute care, AMNS core curriculum, and specialty certification standards within the unit. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
