Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity using the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment. Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with cards valid through sixty days of hire. This role offers a quarterly night shift incentive program and access to comprehensive education support, including up to 100% tuition coverage for specific degrees.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
