Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. Utilize the nursing process to prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team approach. Guide new healthcare professionals through clinical orientation and competency validation under Clinical Educator support. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting. This onsite role in Aurora, CO, requires a current RN license, 6 months of experience, and valid BLS/CPR certification. Full-time day and night rotation with a 3-Year Incentive Bonus and comprehensive total rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
