Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
