Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care (Med-Surg) units using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and validate competency through Clinical Educators during orientation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment. This onsite role requires BLS certification, six months of RN experience, and a preferred Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
