Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Precept new healthcare staff to validate competency and model proficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. This onsite role offers a full-time, 72-hour schedule with days shifts at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central in Colorado Springs, featuring a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive total rewards including tuition reimbursement and performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
