Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. Utilize the nursing process, prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice, and model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team. Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with a card valid through sixty days of hire. Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
