Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients in acute care orthopedic settings using the nursing process while collaborating with healthcare providers. Act as a patient advocate by delegating care and participating in performance and practice improvement activities. Maintain accountability for professional development and practice within the legal scope of care. This full-time night shift role at Kettering Health in Beavercreek requires Ohio RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. The position supports the organization's mission to promote and restore health through exceptional, safe patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
