Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care units with moderate to high acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment supported by Clinical Educators for competency validation. This onsite role in the Oncology Patient Care Unit at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central requires a state-licensed RN with six months of experience and ONS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ONS certification 6 months for new hires and 1 year for new grads
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
