Job Summary
RN-Acute Care Oncology Nursing role on a 42-bed MedSurg/Chemo unit (Night shift, 12-hour shifts). Provides nursing assessments per ANA NC standards, develops and implements individualized care plans with patients and families, collaborates with physicians and the health team, and demonstrates leadership as a resource nurse, mentor, and care-delegator. Requires active RN licensure in the appropriate state; education includes High School Diploma or GED with preferred Bachelor's degree. Eligible to pursue chemo certification on the unit; schedule includes full-time, 0.9 FTE (72 hours per 2 weeks), 7pm-7am. Unit emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and ongoing orientation/training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
