Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team approach. Requires state licensure as an RN, 6 months of nursing experience, and Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy/ONS certification within one year of hire. Includes BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with cards valid through sixty days of hire. Full-time nights shift at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Chemotherapy Immunotherapy ONS Within 1 year of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- This position is an onsite role
