Job Summary
RN Acute Care Neurosciences role providing direct patient care in acute Med-Surg neurosurgical units using the nursing process; works within a multidisciplinary team; participates in precepting new staff or learners; supports evidence-based practice and safety/quality at the point of care; unit-focused on acute care in Neurosciences with AMSN core curriculum and specialty education; role includes day and night rotation with a strong emphasis on clinical competency and ongoing education, tuition/benefits, and incentive programs. Qualifications include RN licensure, BLS, and at least 6 months RN experience; compensation ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits and potential incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (card in-hand before start date)
